Through Loss There is Life ... A New Me and a New Blog

I can't believe it's been 6 1/2 years since my last post.  I'm not even begin to try and summarize all that has happened.  I really don't even want to.  I'm not sure anyone will even be reading this because it's been so long.  If you remember, my partner had cancer and it turned our world upside down.  Well, my partner passed away almost 5 years ago.  We had dreams to move to the Ozarks of Arkansas to live a homesteading life but we never got there and ended up back in San Diego because of needed medical care.  I stayed there for some time working.

Over 3 years ago I bought 20 acres in the town we wanted to move to and paid it off after two years of extremely hard work.  6 months ago I left my business and sold my house in San Diego and moved to my land in Arkansas.  I bought 10 more adjacent acres and have a 575 sf cabin, a large barn and tractor.  I brought with me my two goats, barn cat and two dogs and two other teen-cats have been added to the barn crew.  Chickens, yes, chickens also.

I couldn't find it in me to continue this same blog... too many hard memories.  I invite anyone who is reading this to please join me on my new blog which is located at:

Lazy Dog Ranch & Homestead Blog

Grief and loss is an unwelcome roommate but it'll change and shape you into someone better if you let it.  I'm back and I'm back at it hard.
