Wow, back in 1917, our government stressed responsibility, duty and self reliance regarding our food. What a shift, huh? Now cities and suburbs are having to lobby and fight for permits to have a couple hens in their yards and big agribusiness doesn't want the competition. Well, that's all I'll say about that.
It's hard to comment. The shift from human to corporate interests have re-shaped and re-defined America. I can't say I know the country I was born, raised and served. The land and the people, yes!
ReplyDeleteNow there is legislation to shut down small farms by big business. %!@$%^? I'm gonna just say a prayer for all the farmers out there and meditate to clear my head and heart.
